Biography
Ming-June Tsai received his Ph.D. from the Ohio State University 1986, and is a professor of National Cheng-Kung University. He obtained the A. F. Davis Silver Medal Award in 1999 from America Welding Society. He also received the Outstanding Engineer Award 1990 from China Institute of Engineers, and the Best Paper Award in 2004 from Taiwan Society of Welding Engineering. He was a visiting professor at Arizona State University in 1989, and at University of South Australia in 2000. He was one of the founders of Chinese Society of Machines and Mechanisms Theory (CSMMT), which is a chapter of International Federation of Theory of Machines and Mechanisms (IFToMM). He served as the Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Academic Committee of CSMMT from 1992~2000. He is a now a Technical Committee member of IFToMM since 1999; and an International Scientific Committee of ISRM (International Symposium of Robotics and Mechatronics) since 2009.
