Yuji Iwahori received B.S. degree from Dept. of Computer Science, Nagoya Institute of Technology, M.S. degree and Ph.D. degree from the Dept. of Electrical and Electronics, Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1985 and 1988, respectively. He joined Nagoya Institute of Technology in 1988, then became a professor in 2002. He has joined Chubu University as a professor since 2004 with experience of the Dept. head of Computer Science. In the meanwhile, he has been a visiting researcher of the University of British Columbia Computer Science, Canada since 1991. He has also been a research collaborator with Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati since 2010 and with Dept. of Computer Engineering, Chulalongkorn University since 2014. His research interests include Computer Vision and Application of Machine Learning. He got Best Paper Award from KES International in 2008 and 2013. He has published over 220 scientific papers of journals and international conferences.

Amir Shapiro received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, in 1997, 2000, and 2004 respectively. Currently he is an Associate Professor and director of the robotics laboratory at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer-Sheva, Israel. On 2005-2006 he was a post doctoral fellow at the Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Xing received his B.S degree in Physics at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) which has the most prestigious physics department in China and Ph.D degree in Experimental Particle Physics at CERN, France and Switzerland, affiliated with Syracuse University, New York, where his thesis was focusing on using neural network to solve leading-edge scientific problems, CP violation after the Big Bang. Dr. Xing joined Stanford in 2013 as Engineering Physicist / Staff Scientist, where he worked at the national laboratory SLAC with job responsibility being developing and managing an in-house software system of data analysis, machine learning, sensor / detector read-out, big data framework etc. Dr. Xing joined NIO, USA in 2016 as Staff Data Scientist where he was focusing on developing state-of-the-art deep learning, reinforcement learning algorithms for autonomous driving vehicles. Dr. Xing is an innovative entrepreneur who founded his own startup company Athena Robotics in 2017, where he was the CTO in charge of full stack of self-driving car software technologies including perception, prediction, simulation and planning. Athena Robotics, Inc was selected by Y Combinator for the summer batch of 2018. Dr. Xing joined Borgward, BAIC Group in 2018 as the Director of Artificial Intelligence for Autonomous Driving, who is in charge of the R&D on artificial intelligence for self-driving car technologies. Dr. Xing is an exceptional scientist and AI researcher with outstanding publication records of more than 15,000 Google Scholar citations on top-notch science, AI journals and conference. Dr. Xing was also invited speaker on applications of deep neural network. Moreover, Dr. Xing is an experimentalist who always believe in data and experimental results.

Dariusz Jacek Jakóbczak was born in Koszalin, Poland, on December 30, 1965. He graduated in mathematics (numerical methods and programming) from the University of Gdansk, Poland in 1990. He received the Ph.D. degree in 2007 in computer science from the Polish – Japanese Institute of Information Technology, Warsaw, Poland. From 1991 to 1994 he was a civilian programmer in the High Military School in Koszalin. He was a teacher of mathematics and computer science in the Private Economic School in Koszalin from 1995 to 1999. Since March 1998 he has worked in the Department of Electronics and Computer Science, Koszalin University of Technology, Poland and since October 2007 he has been an Assistant Professor in the Chair of Computer Science and Management in this department.
